About Judith
I am a printmaker, painter and ceramicist, exhibiting both locally and nationally. An important part of my practice is leading workshops for all ages and abilities, including people with physical and other challenges. I work with individuals and small groups in my north London studio, and hold larger workshops in schools, private homes and community venues. I also enjoy taking on bespoke commissions.
My Work
I explore and experiment in diverse media to create unique works on a variety of themes. In ceramics, I am presently combining wheel-thrown and handmade forms to made a series of ‘hugging’ vessels. In oils, my work ranges from spiritually inspired fantasy worlds to everyday realistic scenes - at present reflecting coronavirus limitations. My screen-prints on themes of memories, dreams and shadows is highly experimental. It combines photography, graphic forms and painterly mark-making and encouraging personal interpretation.
