I mainly work in acrylics, creating landscapes, cityscapes, and vibrant abstract pieces inspired by plants, buildings, and everyday surroundings, reinterpreted through bold, expressive colour. My practice moves between observation and abstraction, shifting from more representational work into expressive, experimental compositions.
As a mum, I often work in short, focused bursts, and my paintings tend to evolve organically as I return to them over time. This rhythm has become part of my process, encouraging a responsive and intuitive approach.
Much of my earlier work developed through personal commissions or gifts for friends and family, where I aimed to capture the feeling or memory of a particular place and what it meant to the recipient. More recently, my abstract work has become a space for exploration, where I enjoy experimenting with bold colour combinations, contrast, and playful pattern.
