Artists exhibiting at: 41 Dollis Ave, Finchley, N3 1BY
Gail uses her sketchbook observations as subject matter for her paintings and ceramics. These fulfil her desire to blur the lines between art and craft and tell stories that all can relate to. She shares her interests in drawing, painting, observational studies and art history by teaching.
Ceramics, Painting, Printmaking
Alongside colourful, fantasy screen prints, Judith is exhibiting her new series of 'hugging pots' - small humanised vessels that explore potential withheld, waiting to be released and shared. Each pot is unique - from black stoneware to shiny crystalline green to white porcelain.
Laura De Benedetti
Laura started her career in ceramics making domestic ware. Her inspiration is the landscape of Northern Italy, which informs her choice of materials. She uses hard, porcelain to create the “soft” forms of her vessels and crystalline glazes for pools of intense colour.
Yvette Blumberg (Guest)
Yvette’s prints are influenced by her studies in architecture, yoga, love of the outdoors and swimming. Her work combines the techniques of etching, mono printing, linocutting and collagraph. Exploring structures in urban spaces and landscapes she creates layers with texture, tonality and colour.
