Sarah worked in Advertising and Marketing for over 25 years with many London Agencies including Dorland Advertising and Foote Cone and Belding (FCB). Then she started up her own business as Freelance Marketing Consultant working in Live Events business with big multi national companies which meant travelling far and wide across Europe and the USA. Then Sarah worked for over 10 years with a number of London Hilton Hotels and was in charge of pulling together all the marketing strategies for several New Hotel openings in London, the UK and Europe.
In Sarah's very early days after leaving school she worked in John Lewis partnership, wanting to be a fashion buyer! Then moved on to Conde Nast publications in the early seventies where her job involved booking and paying all the photographers and fashion models for Vogue magazine. A fabulous job Sarah recalls, when she met all the fashion icons of those heady days including models Twiggy, Shrimpton etc and photographers David Bailey, Arrowsmith, Parkinson. Oh what fab memories.
Nothing spectacular to say about my work - but as an amateur Photographer I just enjoy being able to remember and capture certain places, people and events by using my cameral and phone whenever I am out and about.
I joined EFO as it was a great way to meet other local artistic people and enjoy organising and exhibiting at our many shows including the Summer Open House events.
