About Nadia
I am a qualified Architect who has been living in North London for the past 20 years. With a passion for art, and nature I have been documenting the passage of time using music as an inspiration and various media – video, photography, and sketches. When I’m not active in improving the green spaces around N2 – I am a trustee of the Friends of Cherry Tree Wood and an illustrator for the Highgate Society – I work on small-scale, local architecture projects. And in between all of that, I’m an avid music fan, the editor of music webzine blaue-rosen.com, and the co-producer of a radio show on Tak Tent Radio

My Work
Music has always played a crucial part in the way I live, think and work creatively. Ever since I came across Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s quote about architecture being frozen music, I confirmed that focusing my career on design and trying to place my work at the intersection of the two disciplines was what I had to do.
The multimedia work I create always reflects my thoughts at the time, takes inspiration from things, people, written text, murals, graffiti, lyrics, books, paintings, sculpture, poetry, and literature = and always has a piece of music at its core.
Whether it is a close-up photograph of a building's structural system, drawings for a housing extension, or even a macro photo of a fruit, the idea behind its capture always follows a certain rhythm. My multimedia work is published as Archnote, while my architectural work is being shared as Archworm.
