ABOUT JONATHAN
I’m a London-based ceramicist creating handmade stoneware and porcelain pottery. I joined EFOA (East Finchley Open Artists) in September 2026 and have been making ceramics seriously for around five years.
I work a day a week in master potter Chris Bramble’s studio at Kingsgate Workshops in West Hampstead, north-west London and am a member of London Potters. The rest of the time, I work as a freelance copywriter/creative director in B2B marketing. I’m also interested in drawing, painting and landscape photography.

MY WORK
My approach is simple: to make thoughtful, well-crafted thrown ceramics that people will enjoy and be delighted to own and use. I throw mostly functional ceramics (vases, bowls, jugs, plates, mugs, cups, lidded pots, teapots and so on) with different types of stoneware as well as porcelain. Rather than using elaborate decoration I prefer to let the form and glazes speak for themselves.
