About Elizabeth
Although it would be fair to say that I have gamely doodled my way through every academic and vocational training I have ever done (I am a classically trained actor, speech and language therapist and communication skills coach), I am an artist by calling more than by trade. After a 20-year hiatus, I recently rediscovered my passion for creating art and, now, wonder how I managed for so long without it.

My Work
I am inspired by the wonder of nature - both universal and human. My work explores the human condition - specifically the interior world from which we process all things and the states of mind into which we continuously drift. Most of my pieces are created within a few days of inception so as to help capture, as best as I can, the state of mind from which it was first born. I am fascinated by interesting colour combinations, organic patterns, and fine detail – the intricacy of which is mirrored by nature itself. My preference is to use basic, unfussy materials such as art markers, acrylic pens, biros, and assorted ink pens on watercolour paper.
